چکیده

HD 169142 is part of the class (pre-)transitional protoplanetary disks showing multiple carbon nanodust spectroscopic signatures (aromatic, aliphatic) dominating infrared spectrum. Precise constraints on spatial distribution and properties carbonaceous dust particles are essential to understanding physics disk. The disk seen almost face-on thus offers a unique opportunity study radial evolution. We investigate carriers several aromatic emission features in across broad range (10-200 AU). analysed imaging observations 8-12 microns from VLT/VISIR, as well adaptive optics 3-4 VLT/NACO. data probes evolution 3.3, 8.6, 11.3 bands. To constrain nano-grains, were compared models using Heterogeneous Evolution Model for Interstellar Solids (THEMIS), integrated into POLARIS radiative transfer code by calculating thermal stochastic heating sub-micrometer grains. Our show predominant nano-particle at all radii (resolution about 0.1", 12 AU 3 0.3", 35 10 microns) This unambiguously shows that nano-grains dominate radiatively spectrum most disk, suggested previous studies. In order account both VISIR NACO maps, we need distributed within outermost regions radius 20 AU, corresponding outer limit inner cavity derived observations. cavity, these might be present but their abundance would then significantly decreased.

A Keplerian Disk around the Herbig Ae star HD 169142

We present Submillimeter Array observations of the Herbig Ae star HD169142 in 1.3 millimeter continuum emission and 12 CO J=2-1 line emission at ∼ 1. ′′ 5 resolution that reveal a circumstellar disk. The continuum emission is centered on the star position and resolved, and provides a mass estimate of ∼ 0.02 M ⊙ for the disk. The CO images show patterns in position and velocity that are well mat...

Gas in the protoplanetary disc of HD 169142: Herschel’s view

In an effort to simultaneously study the gas and dust components of the disc surrounding the young Herbig Ae star HD 169142, we present far-IR observations obtained with the PACS instrument onboard the Herschel Space Observatory. This work is part of the open time key program GASPS, which is aimed at studying the evolution of protoplanetary discs. To constrain the gas properties in the outer di...

Constraints on the radial distribution of the dust properties in the CQ Tauri protoplanetary disk

Context. Grain growth in protoplanetary disks is the first step towards the formation of the rocky cores of planets. Models predict that grains grow, migrate, and fragment in the disk and predict varying dust properties as a function of radius, age, and physical properties. High-angular resolution observations at more than one (sub-)mm wavelength are the essential tool for constraining grain gr...
